A new model is coming from Mercedes, the T-Class

In news

The Stuttgart-based company is expanding its range with a small family van.

Mercedes and Renault are continuing their collaboration, which began with the Citan model. The T-Class, which arrives in 2022, will also be based on the Renault Kangoo, just like the aforementioned Citan, and both vehicles will be manufactured by Renault in France.

Like the Citan, the Mercedes T-Class will also be available in a 100% electric version, but of course in addition to plug-in and conventional engine variants. The electric version will be based on the Kangoo ZE's 52 kWh battery, which provides a range of 400 kilometers, and Mercedes will be able to do the same.

The Mercedes T-Class is intended for families who live an “active” life and would like to enter the premium world of Mercedes-Benz. It is not yet clear exactly what the Mercedes T-Class will look like, but it is known that it will have two sliding doors and a large luggage compartment that can be converted at any time.

However, the T-Class will have quite a few competitors, in addition to the aforementioned Kangoo, the Citroen Berlingo, Peugeot Rifter, VW Caddy and Ford Tourneo also offer this same function.
