Rácalmás, April 30, 2026 – Hankook is announcing its large-scale Tire Donation Program for the fifteenth time this year. The company is deepening its commitment to safe transportation and social responsibility with a renewed, two-stage application system this year to provide even more targeted assistance to domestic public benefit organizations. Applications will open on May 4, 2026 via the program's official website (www.hankookadomany.hu), where applicants can find out all the details.

Renewed application structure

The 2026 program is new with the introduction of a two-round application structure, which aims to make the application process and tire distribution even smoother. As part of this, smaller associations and organizations will be the first to submit their applications, which will allow them to access the donations needed for their work in local communities sooner. Later in the program, in line with the practice of previous years, larger, national organizations will also be able to join the process, so Hankook will continue to provide the opportunity for cooperation with key partners such as the National Ambulance Service or the Hungarian Red Cross.

"For us, social responsibility is not just an obligation, but a fundamental expression of our commitment to the community. – said Roy Katalin, Head of Communications at Hankook Tire Hungary. – “With the two-round application system introduced during this year’s program, we aim to make the donation process even more efficient. The new structure allows organizations of different sizes and operations to participate in the program in a well-planned manner, so that grants can reach the right place faster, first to local public benefit organizations.”

Sustainability and safety go hand in hand

In line with Hankook’s global ESG strategy, the Rácalmás factory also pays special attention to sustainable value creation. The Hankook Tire Donation Program has become one of the most significant forms of direct support for the Hungarian nonprofit sector over the past decade and a half, with nearly 130 organizations receiving premium tires in 2025. The goal remains the same: to support organizations that serve the common good with their selfless work, whether it’s saving lives, transporting patients or protecting the environment. Last year, the company contributed around 1500 new tires to ensure that the vehicles of the helping organizations can perform their tasks safely and economically.

Application conditions

This year, the competition is open to applications from public benefit organizations, foundations and associations that have been registered for at least five years and operate in the fields of healthcare and social care, civil protection and disaster relief, and environmental and animal protection.

Applications can be submitted between May 4-19, the exact schedule and detailed regulations can be found on the official website of the program, www.hankookadomany.hu page.
